What do the scriptures say? Would you accept the Bible answer? I do, so I accept these points of doctrine.
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

I believe Satan is...actually the son of God :\ oddly enough, because Satan had to come from God therefore making him a "protical" son of God and in respects to Jesus, He is more like God Himself, because He was born of divine conception only capable of doing good whereas Satan KNOWS good but CHOOSES to do bad which in essences means we are all "the devil" and if God get control over Satan then this world would truly be perfect because perfection requires a universal balance and that includes good and evil... now i'm not saying God is gonna start sinning but the only way heaven is going to be established is if humans are accepted and humans eat, sleep, and breathe sin so it is REQUIRED that we sin in order to create heaven, but in heaven no sin is allowed, but there will be plenty to keep us occupied.
and i ALSO believe that we have the potential to be gods because we are all creations of God therefore all eternal therefore have ETERNITY to become gods.... whether or not we can become gods before we die... well, that takes some serious dedication and you gotta REALLY prove yourself to the WORLD that you got what it takes.

1. Yes. We believe that we are all sons and daughter's of God, including Jesus and Satan.
2. We believe that we all have the potential to be able to progress eternally and eventually become like our Father in Heaven.

There is no Satan, as in "the devil". But there are certain souls that are "dark entities" by choice and take a long long time to change, if they do at all. All people are part of God, the father and therefore are god, just in a weaker sense. Our souls are eternal, created by God and we incarnate as people as often as we need to, to learn our lessons here on Earth and become perfected.

As an ex-mormon, I can tell you those things are correct in Mormon doctrine.
They also believe in polygamy for the man who becomes a god of his own planet.
