I kinda got into a bind , and i have a 2001 chvy impala that i am trying to sale , it is a good car , but i lost the title a while ago, the is no liens and im just wondering if anyone know a dealer that i can sell to ,with out having the physical title maybe with a bill of sale

Go to your local DMV and take what papers you do have and you can get a duplicate title.

You can't sell a car without a title. You will have to apply for a lost title. No dealer that I know of would take a car with just a bill of sale...it could not even be your car for all they know.

hi,you cant sell a car without the title.you can always file for a lost title at the dmv.

Nope...gotta have the title... In florida you can go to the tag office and pay a fee and have a new title printed out instantly...Otherwise you'll need to apply for a new title...

you have to file a lost title with dmv before you can do anyhting with the car that is the only way you can sell it
