1.) Pay no attention to things like science, math or history - basically anything you are taught in school.
2.) It helps immensely to be American and extremely opionated.
3.) Do not use factual, hard evidence to support any argument you may have. Use only pathos and fantasy to support your arguments.
4.) Make sure to tell those who don't agree with your viewpoints that you feel sorry for the fact that they will spent eternity burning in a lake of fire.
5.) Don't hate non-white, non-male, non-Americans...just make sure to keep leverage so that they will never have the same opportunities as you.

If you follow these steps, you'll be a successful religious bastard in no time!!!!
