I'm sending a friend of mine a medicine bag (along w/ a few candles and other things) and I want a few sugestions on what else to put in it, so far my ideas are rose quartz, quartz, amethyst, kyanite, smoky quartz, sodalite, melachite, unikite, titanium flame, and dumortiertite

these wont all be carried at one time but I want him to be able to chose from stones that will probably be helpful to stick in the bag to carry around.

info on him, he's a cancer aswel as a little bit of what ppl refer to as an indigo ((though he's mostly intune with his higher 4 chakras)), and a musician. he's prone to depression, spiritual attacks, and recently alot of emotional trauma problems from the past aswell as newer situations have been a problem for him.

please DO NOT answer this question with telling me stones do not work or anything of that nature, only honist ansewers please, any info that comes to mind helps :)

An honest answer is that they are just placebos. Use what you want. It doesn't matter, as long as you believe it will do something.

I would ease up on the amethyst, smoky quartz, sodalite, quartz and maybe even the kyanite.

Obsidian and hematite for grounding and first chakra. Priority for him. Get him out of the clouds.

Carnelian for second chakra; emotional balancing.

Citrine or tiger's eye for third chakra; tuning into inner sense of guidance; clearing of guilt, anger and fear.

Malachite good for heart. Try some watermelon tourmaline or use malachite with the rose quartz to keep heart open and pure.

Turquoise for throat; open up communication.

Sodalite actually good for third eye -- as long as its a rich blue. Otherwise use lapis lazuli. I think the sodalite will be better, because the lapis might have him taking off the ground again. Maybe a little too powerful.

Violet fluorite for crown. Amethyst okay, but the triangular shape of the fluorite will help to draw energies back down to the physical to help him ground again.

Make sure all crystals are cleansed in kosher or sea salt at least overnight; charge in SUNLIGHT for at least 4 hours. DO NOT RECOMMEND MOONLIGHT . . . too emotional, too yin -- he needs the yang of the sun. Work lower chakras first to ensure solid grounding before aligning with others.

PLEASE, MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. Otherwise, please see a qualified crystal healer.

Also recommend class in Tai-Chi. Would help realign energies.

Good luck.

That is a lot of quartzes. Maybe a small green jade. a turquoise. a jasper. If you are going to a rock shop for them I would suggest giving yourself a moment to gaze at the stones and trust your feelings for them.
