No enlisted men fly, but as you've already heard you can become a warrant officer in the army. You can drop a warrant packet right out of flight school if you want. Thats what I did and I've been flying for the army since the age of 18.

You've got to have that degree. What you can do is join up, and they will pay for the remainder of your education. There will be a physical and you have to pass certain things to fly. The Air Force is excellent ,but then I'm probably partial since my husband is an Air Force officer. He went in as an enlisted and finished college, later going to the Officer's Training Academy. Good luck and thank you for considering being part of our wonderful US military.

The options are dependent:
Do you have a rotary ticket?
There was a 19 YO W1 Pilot in our sister Co. in 75. Rumor was his father was able to pay for the lessons when he was 13. There has likely been changes since then.
He was not old enough to have ever gone to college.
Do good on the test and you might be able to apply for OCS or a flight/warrant program.
You will have to talk to a recruiter and get a high score.

No branch of the military allow an enlisted personnel to fly a rotor or fixed wing aircraft. I do know the Army allows their Warrant Officer's to fly rotor wings.

Only the Army will.
But they will not allow enlisted to fly, only warrent officers.
You have to be a commissioned officer in the Air Force, Marines and Navy.
