There is one theory[and there is evidence to support it]that says that the wise men that he was talking to in the temple when he was 12 were actually monks who seen his potential and took him back to asia to teach him the ways of goodness and truth from the age of 13 to 29.He returned later on to teach his people what he had learned and that is why there are no records.

There are some stories of Jesus as a boy and teenager, just not in the traditional bible. Of course, those stories haven't been subjected to the same review (verification) as the books included in the modern bible and it is quite likely that many of them are false (e.g., it would have been a logical strategy for the enemies of Jesus to make up stories about his childhood that would call his claims into question!). In any case, some of these stories do talk about miracles Jesus performed as a child and teenager...you just have to be careful when you read them because the source may be questionable!

It makes sense that the modern bible doesn't discuss much about the story of Jesus before he started his ministry just a few years before he was crucified. The disciples (and other authors of the books in the bible) didn't know Jesus before they started following him and the gospels were written as a testimony (eye witness account) of his life. Their knowledge of the words and actions of Jesus would have been limited to what they saw and what he told them. It would have been pointless for Jesus to waste the short time he had regaling his disciples with stories of his youth...it was a far more effective message to SHOW them what he had the power to do...thus, with a few obvious exceptions, the testimony of the apostles (the gospels) forcuses mainly on what he said and did while they were with him!

I can't say the truth to you, but they say some of the books of the bible were not canonize by the church, only 52 or 53 were allowed. So there might be knowledge out there that we do not know about. We have to do the best with what we have and have faith, BUT WOW it will all be cleared up, in Revelation 14:6-7 it states that a angel will fly in heaven preaching the good news,WOW this angel will tell the earth the true gospel of Jesus and it says many will be saved. I'm sure us who may not know will be compensated or held not guilty by way of what the church with held from us.Use what you got and have faith.

Because the Apostles wrote the accounts of Jesus, and He only started His ministry at about 30 - 33 years old. He only chose the Apostles at that point of his life. They probably asked his mother Mary questions about his life as a child, however, their objectives, were to report of the miracles and life of Jesus during His ministry, while they were with him. So they were first-hand accounts. As that was the most important.

Because it was the Apostles who recorded the life of Jesus, we don't know if he performed miracles before that.

There is a story about Jesus in Isaiah when He was 12 yrs old He spoke to the Jews in the Synagogue...and His ministry started at the God appointed time when He was ready.
Jesus grew in wisdom and stature with God and man..He had to grow into the position before He could start His ministry...Luke: 2v 52...
Shalom
John ch2, speaks of Jesus mother saying the wine had run out and she is asking Him what He can do...He said my time has not yet come...if you read on it's Jesus first miracle...hope this helps...

Brendon that's funny! lol

There are stories of Jesus as a boy, in the Hebrew temple discoursing with the scribes and pharisees. of course you know the other story of Jesus as a baby, right. born on Christmas day?
Then the story of how the ruler of Palestine tried to locate this child and ordered the killing of every child under 2 years of age. And how Jesus escaped on the magic carpet that his mother Mary had woven for him in Istanbul in the Temple Mount? Never hear that one? It is in the Book of Maccabees.

There are other stories in Maccabees about how Jesus as a young man was a zealot, a resistance movement against the Roman occupation who schemed in the desert with weapons and periodically attacked Roman soldiers in their Humvees (they called them chariots then)with roadside bombs. You never heard that one. Read it. Book of Maccabees in the unpublished version of the Bible and New Testament.

God sent Joseph, Mary and Jesus into Egypt for most of Jesus' youth. Because Herod intended to murder the baby Jesus. That is part of the answer. It's really not important to know this side of heaven.

A big chunk of his Life story was excluded from our knowledge probably because it wasn't so significant from someones point of view. I heard that Jesus had brothers and sisters but i cant remember that it is mentioned anywhere (I am not so good with Holy Books by the way. I prefer a personal pray)

Well since i don't believe the bible is a true account of what happened and is in fact complete cobblers maybe the 'Men' that wrote it couldn't be bothered to write about him playing in the dust with his brothers and sisters so jumped to the next part of the story!

The stories of Jesus during youth are Apocryphia books, as they portray Jesus in a less than ideal light...He could perform miracles when he was young, yes, but he did so in a manner that put others in danger, and that seem vaguely demonic...
