I want to become a helicopter pilot as my career. Not neccessaraly a coast gaurd. But in order for me to get the most and the best expierence, this is the way to go. So I want to know the fastest way to get my pilot licence, and finish my service.

actually, the fastest way is through the Army's Warrant Officer Program which does NOT require a 4 year degree like all other branches do. As long as you can meet the rigorous Physical requirements, you can be flying Helos very quickly in the Army.

Go see the recruiter and ask how to become a helo pilot. Then start planning your College Bachelors Degree in that direction. All the fly boys have college degrees. A must to be an officer.. Embry Riddle University in Daytona Beach Florida. This a Aeronautical Flying University. Best in the country. Can start learning to fly small birds. Look in the phone book and see if their are flying lessons in your town...

Go get a BS degree from your local University and submit your flight school packet and OCS packet to the
Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard is not the Army, you must be an officer to fly, so you need a degree first.

to get a helicopter licence. you must pay for a 100 a hour for
lessons that most people go in the service and sign-up for
two to three years learning how to fly helicopters.
