Are there apartments on the parade route that you can rent for the weekend? We are looking for an apartments perferably at the end of the parade route.

You could rent a hotel room overlooking the parade, but you'll have to wait until after this year's parade to book for next year's parade. They book the week after Thanksgiving for the following year. And they aren't cheap, around $2000 per night for 1 night and $600 for the other 2 nights, ususally with a 3 night minimum.
Plus you'll be too high to see anything well. It's best viewed from the street.

That's high priced Manhattan real estate. Best to rent a hotel room in Tmes Square or Trump Plaza.

there is plenty of hotels in Times Square and u can view the parade
