It depends on your energy level and conviction. Some people need to be pushed because they are definitely lost. Thats where you pray for God's guidance. If you have true connection to God you will intuitively know what to do. Avoid self will at all costs. There is a definitive line you cannot cross lest we start playing God. Some people just outright hate Jesus Christ. But remember, they are allowed into the room for even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall through the cracks of the table but you have to careful not to throw the salt to the pigs to be trampled underfoot.

A Christian has the duty to tell people the good news that all have sinned and fallen short of God's perfect standard of righteousness but because God loved us so much He sent Jesus to pay our sin debt for us if we will only trust Him on it.

After that if the person says they don't care or they don't believe or whatever they say that gives the message that they are not interested in hearing any more then you should leave them alone and pray for them.

If they cut you off and tell you they've already heard it before and don't want to hear it again then just leave them alone and still pray for them.

But if you don't even make the attempt you're not doing what Jesus said to do. There is a difference between offering to share the greatest news a person can possibly hear that will impact their life for both time and all eternity and "pushing your beliefs" on them.

Christians don't 'push' anything. Society does an outstanding job of that as it is. We only inform. People will have to 'convert' themselves. It is a personal process. A transformation. So that they through Christ, can come clean of all the filthy garbage society has taught them.

The same way you can't 'convert' an alcoholic into a sober man. Or Give wisdom and life to someone who is spiritual dead. It's all personal. Between God and individual.

God bless

I think that SHARING your beliefs is perfectly acceptable. But shouting them at me and threatening me with damnation is not going to work.

There is such a thing as a civil conversation about religious differences. Really. You and I could share our beliefs, discuss the differences, and not get into a slap fight.

But pushing beliefs is not purely a Christian act. I've had members of several different religions push their beliefs at me even after I made it clear I would not convert. Sure, it's happened more with Christians than with any other religion, but that is due to the fact that I live in a mostly Christian state.

I do wish you would have whatever you print to be spell checked! No one should push Christian beliefs on anyone. Many people believe what is said in the Bible. Go ye and preach! But the bible does not say, Go ye and push your religion!

There is a difference between telling and pushing. You can only be pushed if you don't move. Step to one side or walk away and it misses you completely.

No ones forcing it on people;they can listen or not;stay or walk away.Really people just have what the Bible calls "itching ears.

The Bible annoys them becuase it doesnt agree with the way they want to run their own lives with no God involved.

I resent that. It seems like you're saying "don't push our beleifs on someone just because they're wrong and we're right" the way you talk about what god wants.

Jesus said to preach to all people, with WORDS. The Bible says they can't believe unless they hear.

Your attempt to quench the Gospel means you're either deceived by Satan, or not really a Christian
