Job was not Jewish, he was an Oriental from the land of Uz. Job 1:1-3

I am a Christian and not a Jew

We know JOB was in a place called UZ!

The same Hebrew word occurs in

Gen 10:23 And the sons of Aram: Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

Notice this UZ was son of Aram (or Ram).

Now another character in the Book of Job, Elihu also related to Ram / Aram. Job 32:2.

Or they can both be belonging to the lineage of David - Because the Ram/Aram appears in Ruth 4:19 as well.

We cannot rule out such a connection.

I put this forth as something to think about. But the Hebrew words in Genesis 1:2 tohu and bohu show something totally different. Tohu means to lie waste or desolate and bohu means undistinguishable ruin. This does not describe a nothingness that God just spoke and it became a planet. This is a planet that wasdestroyed. Destroyed by what? Water. This is a total earth wide flood.

In Noah's flood, how many whales were in the ark? How many dinosaurs were in the ark? How many Sharks or Leviathos were in the ark? For Noah's flood to be a world wide flood where all life perished, then all sea life and trees had to perish as well. But they did not. One of the birds brought back a tree branch with it.

So is it possible that Job lived on the first earth and not our current earth and so the answer would then be that he was not a Jew. Selah.

I am a Christian, but the Bible does mention among Joseph's family coming to Egypt, a certain Job. Maybe it is the same one? It would be about the right time.
Ge 46:13 And the sons of Issachar; Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.

As Muslims we believe Job was in the Abraham line of family which is also the same descendants as Mohamed; so to us he is a Jewish, Christan, and a Muslim.
