Anybody who thinks that they are any better or "holier" than anyone else because they "know Christ" while the other doesn't, really doesn't know Him at all.
"Christian breathren and sisteren" aren't any better or worse than anyone else. Christ doesn't love them one whit more than He does anyone else. They are just as much sinners as anyone else...at least, they start out that way...
The only difference is that they have accepted the provision made for them by God for them to have eternal life.
When that happens, they will begin to change, but overbearing pride will not be the result. They will turn away from their sin, when they see themselves as God sees them, because they will be sickened in their heart. They will look for and receive God's help to keep them from repeating their mistakes over and over again...some may progress faster than others, so be careful about judging anyone who might no seem to be making as much progress as someone else.
Christ is the LEADER, it is all about Him...it is not about His disciples at all. All we are to do is to tell others about Him...
And that is what we are trying to do. It's rather hard to do that, I'm afraid, without sounding superior...but I'm working on it.
Meantime, may God bless you always...whether you believe in Him or not.

Gee, the thing I can't understand is why sooo many really passionate "christian believers" appear to be almost addicted to self denigration and self humiliation. I hear things like "I am no better than filthy rags" "I am nothing and I know nothing" etc. etc. etc. I can only suppose that there is some sort of idea that there's a direct connection between how miserable and wretched you are in this life, and the quality of your bit of real estate in Heaven when you get there. If you feel that you aren't accumulating enough "misery points", the solution would be to do everything you can to improve the situation by putting your own foot on the scales on the negative side to try and weigh things down a bit more in your "favor" (or disfavor according to how you look at it LOL).
If this turns out to be correct, dang, when it's my turn I'll probably be handed directions to a cardboard box somewhere out on the edge of Heaventown.

The Apostle Paul, who wrote most of the books of the New Testament, who traveled the ancient world sharing the good news about Jesus, and who was constantly beaten up and imprisioned for his faith, was a very spiritually-mature guy. His take on this question? He called himself the "chief among sinners"... basically the worst sinner of all. I think what happens is that more mature you become as a Christian, the more you realize how sinful you are and how perfect God is. You also realize more and more how everything good about you is only because of Him. So a mature Christian would have a humble attitude toward those who aren't saved, and would just be thankul for anything they have received.

Where are you getting your information?
Salvation isn't about being better, it is about being saved.
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
According to the Bible we all need a Savior. Jesus came and shed His precious blood on the cross to provide a way of salvation.
How about you? If you are interested in pursuing this subject seriously, feel free to email me. God's Word has the answers for all of the questions here.

I do not think I am better than anyone on this planet, God created all of us.(allowed us to have life) I just worry about their soul, but I'm not better, free will is free will, you can't force anyone to believe or accept Christ as their Savior.

I know I am not.
I never have pretended to be better or smarter.
I'm happy with myself, though. There is always room for improvement, but I am pretty smart and pretty good.
The only difference is that I love God and follow Jesus.

You can't be serious. Only after I became a born again Christian have I seen the extent of what a sinner I truly am.
