I was prescribed 20mg of Toradol twice a day, so it's not going to kill you or anything, but you should not take more than your recommended dose with out checking with your doctor first, you could get in trouble if you are under the care of a pain management doctor.

It is ok. Usually 2 10 mg tablets are given for the first dose (20 mg) and then 1 tablet (10 mg) every 4 to 6 hours. Remember not to take more than 40 mg per day and do not take Toradol for more than 5 days. Once you had started taking it avoid taking double dose for safety precautions.

It is a non-steroidal anti inflammatory drug that can irritate your digestive tract so be careful if you had any history of ulcers.

Apparently.
NSAID's have a plateau effect, so more isn't better in terms of pain relief. Additionally, ketorolac (Toradol) has the highest incidence of adverse effects of any of the currently available NSAID's, which is why it's indicated only for the transition from parenteral to oral drug, not for long-term use, and taking the extra only increased the risks of side effects like gastrointestinal bleeding.
It's either narcotics or put up with the pain. Your desperation is understandable, but your choice is too risky.
