That's why I don't believe in a god. There are too many inequities about the whole thing. god doesn't get people jobs, even if there were one. A god would have to be an entity that teaches, not places people. Read some of Richard Dawkins' works.

i dont actually know myself and i always wonder but i'm not religious ;) but i happen to believe in a God

i think that God actually does nothing of the sort and leaves the world as it is. he's already made it so perfect that everything fits together perfectly.

but somehow maybe he does really small things so when u make a big mistake doing something then ur life wont be messed up. maybe he makes u see things in a way so that u can understand and be more open. so its still free will because he isn't making u believe anything he's just showing u.

and of course it could be completely different from wat we think and we may just be in some kind of super kind of tv show being programmed to follow out life exactly as it is planned for us:P

God is merely a figment of the imagination. So he would not help anyone get a job or something and at the same time adversely effect someone else's chance.

Not really. Oftentimes even the best of prayers doesn't get you what you asked. But in your example, the person who got the job because he asked God, vis a vis the peson who did not, the one who didn't may not have desired the job as strongly as the one who did. It's not God who decides your fate, it's you.

God knows what's best for each of us. He gave us the free will to choose between what's good for us and what's bad for us. Maybe that other person has a better job waiting.

Free will is a decision to either obey God or disobey God. Free will comes with either blessings or curses depending if you are obeying God or not. God gives people the choice of rather to do things that bless them or curse them. That is free will, it does not come without consequences.

God still allows free will in your example it is ability, hiring person's decision, or having a knowledge of a better job available.

Not always so. What about the job that has been open for a long time. And if B gets this job, then maybe A will get a better one.

I think God is much more capable of selecting the right person for the job than someone like you. God is a God of order, He is the creator.

you have diffentally got God all wrong,The best man gets the job that has nothing to do with it but yes its good to have God on your side. You are picking and God and thats not a good thing to do.
God said in his word that he knocks on the door and if you open the door He would come in and sup with you. That means that God is always ready to help those who ask for it. He doesn't punish those who arn't saved. He does bless those who are according to His word. The question I have for you is why do you feel that God wont bless you. God is patiently awaiting for you to talk to him. So talk to Him.
