We used "It Had To Be You" recorded by Harry Connick, Jr.
(We also had "It had 2BU" engraved in our wedding rings)

Anything you and your spouse- to-be likes! But make sure you choose a song for the second dance as well!
Our first :"Just The Way You Are."- Barry White.
We were actually tempted to use Disney soundtracks as we had been accused of planning a "Mickey Mouse " wedding since we had a registry office rather than a church ceremony!

Do the 2 of you have a special song that when it plays, you both think of each other? That's the song...there are so many to choose from... I pulled a great trick because there were many older people at the wedding we started as a waltz and broke into the theme from "friends" it was a blast!!! we rocked out...at the beginning the grandparents were so pleased...lol

mine was "inside your heaven" by Carrie Underwood. But it has to be a song that means something to the both of you. Or a song that has lyrics that describe your feelings for each other.
Have you picked out a DJ for the wedding yet? A lot of times they have really good suggestions for wedding songs.
Good Luck!

We're having 'Your Song' by Elton John.. If my fiance had let me, I'd be having Million Love Songs by Take That! I think 'Wonderful Tonight' by Eric Clapton is the most popular, along with Bryan Adams 'Everything I Do' and Wet Wet Wet's 'love is all around'. The best song will be one that means something to you as a couple, it doesn't matter what it is, as long as it makes you think of eachother when you hear it.

It depends on the couple. If you like country the wedding song by BIG -N-Rich or the theme song off of Armageddon was what I used. And my husband sang it to me as we danced.

Well it depends what sort of people you are, I got married in May this yr and we chose Shania Twain's ' From this moment' - it's all about getting married!!
Then for the dance with my dad we had Daddy's little girl / butterfly kisses by Faith Hill and Jeff Carson.
Both were perfect and I cried with both - so did my mum.

For me its gonna be 'Still The One' by Shania Twain but How Do I by Leanne Rhymes is really good as well as From This Moment by Shania Twain. You should also listen to 911 by Mary J blige and Wyclef and Don't Change by Musiq
