Honey, I don't have break outs cuz i drink alot of water. try that. Well i kno alot of pplz that have used proactiv, they say it makes your face really dry. But i say the only way to get rid of a clogged pore is to dry it out..right?! so i think you should try it, cuz their skin has improved, so why shouldn't yours?

From person experience, Proactiv really doesnt do much. The formula is just like what you would purchase at a simple store, such as Wal-Mart. The only difference between Proactiv and a over the counter acne treatment is that proactiv has less of the acne fighting ingredients in it, so that it doesnt dry out your skin as much, but as ive heard, it does dry it out fairly badly.

My personal advice would to get a non soap cleanser to use on your face, drink the recommended amount of water daily, and be sure to change your pillow case/sheets every 2 or 3 days, to reduce buildup of dirt and oil, which could clog your pores.

Save your money and change your diet. I used Proactive when it first came out, I didn't see any changes in my skin. The only thing that worked was the face mask. I have a friend, who suffers from worst acne than I ever did, and she is brainwashed by the commercials. Her skin has NOT improved, but she swears by it. I try to tell her, but she keeps on using it and slathering on more and more make up to cover her bumps.
I suggest that you drink more water and clean out your colon. You'd be surprised as to how much healthier you skin will look if you do those 2 things. Good luck.

Honestly it works for me. Though everybody is different. I've also been trying B5 vitamins. Go on Yahoo search and type B5 and you will see that there is a website that let's you know about B5 clearing up acne. I drink tons of water...I use proactive for my face and internally I use vitamins. Has definetly worked for me.
Acne is caused by a hormonal imbalance. There are ways to work around it and cheat acne but you have to stay on it and also see a dermotologist. They will give you medication that at first will make it worse BUT WILL CLEAR...though a dermotoligist is expensive. Most people don't go because of the cost. Good luck!

Well I know many people have tried it and it just depends on your skin type but if your really serious on getting acne away go to a dermetologist - i did and they presribed a product called Retain - A and now i have clear skin. I also know a friend who did the same.
