I have a Sony Bravia LCD TV and a PS3, what sort of home cinema kit (surround sound) would I need for best results? (my living room is of average size if that helps!) Cheers

Sony, Samsung, Yam, Denon, Onkyo, etc sell home theater packages that are affordable.

I don't know how the sub woofer will perform in your room. If the room is too small, and you crank up the volume, the subwoofer may over power the rest of the music.

Too big, then it will sound like anaemic.

Buy one which is good for both music and movies, that way you will get best of both worlds.

Bose is great if you have to much money than sense.

the best thing that i can recomend is to go for something that suits you (and your significant other?) I would not recomend bose, (they rely on mass marketing, and use inferior materials, when compared to any other brand) as there are lots of alternatives out there that will trump bose for less(I wouldn't pay anymore than $200 fora new bose system-but if you can get it for that much, more power to you).

Harmon Kardon make some very nice packages
so do polk, marantz, sony, and onkyo-they have some of the better in the way of quality and price.

Hi.It depends on your budget. There are systems in all price ranges from a HTMI (home theater in a box) about $200 to expensive individual components costing many thousands of dollars.

Bose makes a really good home theater system and I think that Best Buy sells several varieties. Your room size helps to determine the system you get. They can help you with this.
