How old does female Boston terror's have to be before they have their first heat?

The fact that you are here on Yahoo answers asking this question clearly shows that you have no business even THINKING ABOUT BREEDING DOGS.
Just becuase she has a uterus does not make her worthy of breeding.
Do her a favor and get her spayed.
Find something else to do as a hobby other than bringing more unwanted dogs into the world.
How about you go volunteer at a shelter?

Your Boston will go into heat inbetween 6-12 months of age. You should however, not breed her until she's at least 2 years old because she's still a puppy herself. I highly recomend that you spay her. But If you insist on breeding your dog, get her vet checked before you breed her and do research about breeding bostons so you'll know what to expect. Also make sure there is a market in your area for that type of dog because if you can't get rid of the pups, then you'll either end up with them or they'll be at the pound....VERY SAD :(

they can have their first heat at 8 months but do not get her pregnant until she is at least 2 yrs. Also talk to your vet about her health and if it is a good choice o get her pregnant. Not every dog should have puppies. Sometimes their body will not do good if they have puppies.

Yeah, AMEN!!! If you think it is "terror" then you need more help than can be given here.
Clearly, you have no idea about all the genetic diseases that effect the breed. You better do a little research and figure out some basics about breeding and doing genetic testing!!!!

It's terrier, not terror. If you don't know how to spell terrier, you probably ought not breed them.
They have their first heat around 6 months, but should not be getting pregnant until 2 years old or it will cause complications.
Get her spayed, it is much safer.

At very very very least, 2.. 3 would be much better.. She'll come into season for the first time approx 6 mos of age.. 5 month is the perfect time to spay her!

why would you with over 1 millions puppies put to death have more puppies.
spray her and be happy with your dog or go to the local dog pound and get one for a friend for your dog
