I got flgiht ticket from a potential employer in my spouse city. I want to extend the ticket so I can stay a bit longer with my spouse, rather than just one day. I am thinking to go to the airline company, change the tickets and pay all money because of this change.

My question is : Will the potential employer knows I change the ticket? I am not sure if the comapny know whether this will be considered unprofessional for job hunting. So it will be safe if the flgiht change is only on my and airline side

Thanks,

The employer will not be informed. If you have a hard ticket , it should be no problem, If its electronic they are probably going to ask for confirmation of your credit card numbers etc. to verify that you are the actual buyer of the ticket. Knowing employers he has purchased you the cheapest ticket that he could and that means RESTRICTIONS. I wouldn't be sup[raised if the flight cant be changed at all and at the very least you are going to have to pay a change fee that usually runs between $50 and $100. Good luck and the sooner you do this the better!
