Don't get a tattoo, Just to try and be cool... I think a tat should be something you have thought about yourself, it should be something that reflects you in some way. Not done on a whim. Think about it for a while.

Sorry to say, but if you don't know what you want, you're not ready for a tattoo. As some of the others have said - don't rush into it just for the sake of it. I have liked the idea of having a tattoo since my mid 20s, but only last year did I finally decide on a design (I turned 40 earlier this year.) I now have 2 unique designs and am going for my 3rd (and final) later on in the year.
When you have found a design or style that you want only then are you ready to have a tattoo - anything else you will regret at a later time.
Also, if you want any words or phrases in a language other than your own check with at least three other sources to make sure that it means what you think it means (think how disappointed you would be if the Chinese symbol that you think means "Tiger" actually turns out to mean "fluffy bunny"!). And also check that the spelling is correct.

Get a temporary tattoo or don't get one at all. If you don't speak Spanish the tattoo artist may write something obscene as a joke, or spell it wrong. Some words may have secondary slang meanings that aren't listed in the dictionary. You might also look like a poseur. If you're so desperate for ideas you're asking strangers on the internet, you should really reconsider.
If you really want a tattoo in spanish, maybe get something that describes your personality or an ideal. Preferably something that you wouldn't be embarrassed to tell someone what it means in thirty years.

ur tattoo is gonna b with u for life so it should b something meaninful and special say a name, place, song that reminds u of good times. also make a list of ur fav things that u couldnt live wiv out. good luck i'm sure it will look gorgeous

it's dumb to get a tattoo without knowing what you want. how about (in spanish) "i went to spain and all i got was this stupid tattoo!"
seriously, i love tattoos that are a) done well
b) have a reason for being there
people who end up regretting their tattoos are people who get them just because they want to get one. wait until you have a reason to get one or until you know for sure what you want.

You need to come up with something sentimental. Not something you suddenly thought of. It needs meaning. You shouldn't get one till you know for sure what you want, not what other people think you should get. You've figured out you want something in Spanish. Now you need to figure what it needs to say, but think of it yourself. Myabe a prayer or family saying. But make sure its something you'll never regret.

if you do not know what you want, don't get anything! if you really wanted one, you wouldn't need to ask others opinions. dont get one to be a sheep, get something that has meaning to you something you wont forget, i have 5 tattoos 3 of which i designed myself
