I know most of you believe that it is not a sin. But I would like to hear from the ones that do what to do when you catch your kids/teens masturbating. Don't bother posting "it's not a sin because or it is a sin because." We've heard the arguments.

How should they be punished?

Do you think you can get them to stop?

Shame is the preferred punishment.

It's a tragedy that they don't believe God would give them the grace to resist the temptation.

As long as the child is raised in truth AND grace, they'll be fine. But if you try to raise them all truth, you cause repression and if you try to raise them all grace, you cause lawlessness. There must be a balance for healthy development.

I fear for the mental health of the child that is punished for masturbation. That would be terribly cruel punishment for such a natural act.....this would mess up a kid terribly.
