why non-muslims are so bothered because muslims girls look like Mary? yeah they were hijab on their hair, and if you go to your church and meditate in Mary's pictures there, you will notice how she shares the decent clothes with muslim girls, you just say you love her, but we muslim girls love her and make her our example, so we wear hijab,but you do not like it and mak some rules against our freedom and ban hijab in some places......again, we sooo bothered?!!!!!
if Mary (peace be upon her lives in this age, would you also compell her to take off the veil she wears in church pictures?!

*those who say there are muslim girls do not wear decent clothes, well i have never mentioned those girls, because you never felt bothered about them, i meant hijabi girls..
*if Mary's (peace be upon her)pictures are not accurate, who can garantee other painted facts are accurate then! ok, skiped Mary's pic..how about the pure decent nuns!!is not veil they put on their hair!!!

can you explain to us about all the Muslims girls who do not dress as Mary. I have seen some Muslim girls in the Middle East showing more skin than the non Muslims. Believe or not. It is true.
my dear. Time change things, and so should we and how we dress. Don't you think so!
A person can dress modestly without suffocating the living day light out of them.

I will speak only for myself. I am not bother by either one. From your question, I got the idea that those girls who don't wear the hijab are not good girls, and those who do are better. My dear, I don't think so. I think what matter is what is inside that person, not what is outside. If a girl has her hair showing don't make her any less of a good girl than a girl who had her hair face and every inch of her skin covered.
As for How Mary used to look like.
How come you believe that those picture is how the Blessed Mary used to look like, and at the same time question how was Her son Jesus Christ looks like in those same pictures! ever wondered why! think about i.

For anyone reading these who doesn't know. Women who are Muslim wear their hijab (head scarf) traditionally because they believe that they are sacred and they want to selectively choose who gets to see them. I don't think there is anything wrong with that at all. It is the distortion of the religion that has made it mean that women are dirty or sexually immoral and need to cover themselves etc. This was not the true intent. I don't think it has to do with decency though. There is nothing indecent about the human body. The human body is sacred and beautiful. It is because there ARE a lot of women who are FORCED to cover based upon the distortions of the religion. Because for them it is a lack of freedom instead of something that frees them. That is probably why people may look sideways at a woman wearing a hijab. They may just be wondering if it is by your own choice or not. Explain to them. Let them know. If you allow yourself to feel outcast by these things, the opportunity to educate people about something I assume is very important to you is missed.

How do you know what Mary looked like? You are simply going by artistic renderings based on someones presuppositions or imaginations. I am not saying they are not accurate or are, since I was not alive in the 1st century in Palestine. Isn't it ironic that Islamic women seek to dress like Mary, a Jewish girl, the very people they call dogs and wish to exterminate?

Just what sort of relationship do you think all those pieces of art have to the way Mary (if she even existed) looked?
Most of them make her look like a Northern European, apart from in the predominantly black churches where she may appear as a sub-Sahara African.
What does that have to do with a girl from Judea?

Some Muslim women that i have seen,was impossible to tell what they look like, all i could see was a pair of eyes.
