I am planning on getting a tattoo, of Elmo holding a heart that says "Elmo Loves Kristen"
The thing is I wanted it on my LOWER BACK...right above my crack. But I heard that it hurt more than it does on other body parts. I just want some advice. On if I should get it there or not. The main reason I was going to get it there was to cover it if I had to. But I don't tolerate pain very well. So I want a nice and easy tattoo.

i've never had an "easy" tattoo. they all hurt, some places hurt more than others. if i had to pick a place that has hurt the least it would be the shoulderblades. i have both of mine done (my whole back is tattooed) and i have both of my feet tattooed. but even the shoulderblades hurt. you just need to find something to distract yourslef whether it's listening to music, reading a book (it's what i do) or talking to a friend.

Ok here's the thing. Everyone says that the top of the foot is one of the most painful places you can get a tattoo. I had one done there, and it didn't bother me at all. The lower back is supposed to be painful, but for some it isn't. If you don't tolerate pain very well, I would stay away from the lower back. I have heard several people say this: If your choice of location is one where you like to be kissed, then the tattoo will hurt more there. It all depends on where you are more sensitive. if you are already thinking about possibly covering that tattoo - DONT GET IT
elmo really isnt a good idea for a tattoo.im positive you will be covering that up within a year of having it done.
if you have to ask anyone elses opinion on what kind of tattoo or where the tattoo should be placed you shouldnt be getting one.
and the lower back tattoo is referred to as a "tramp stamp" guys look at it and see a target...

I am all for tattoos, but I'd really, really think about getting somebody else's name put on your body forever. I mean, I think we know.... divorce/breakup rate at 50%....... just be very, very confident that you know without a doubt that you will be with this person forever. All things considered, lower back is not that bad. My stomach hurt worse. But, there is no "easy" tattoo. They all hurt to some degree and you gotta be ready for it.

The tramp stamp is so played out. What about on the lower stomach? Also, it's not a very bright idea to get someone elses name tatooed on you unless it is a child of yours, or someone that will always be in your life no matter what. Unfortunately, that doesn't include wifes, GF's, husband, etc..

the only awnser to that is DONT GET A TATTOO. if you dont like pain nor can you tolerate it you have no right to get a tattoo, sorry for being so blunt. its the truth! :)

ok first of all your tattoo idea is kinda dumb. you should really put a lot of thought and consideration when you're getting any tattoo done. second of all, tattoos hurt no matter where you put them
