They say they will let evolution do the rest. During the next 3-10 years, they will announce the success of the creation of life from scratch. How does this affect your religious beliefs? If we can create lives ourselves in just a few years, then doesn't this disprove your theory of God?

Brother michael, a creator isnt necessary for life. you can start off with a small particle and it can evolve into a giant organism over billions of years through reproduction and evolution.

All they have so far are words.
Let's wait and see.

Where did the "scientists" get the materials, the knowledge, the technology, and the inspiration to even begin to consider "creating" life? Didn't they have to be "alive" in the first place in order to create this life you speak of. Where did your scientists come from? They came from God's laboratory.
They all came from the same God whom you are feebly trying to argue away with your vacuous logic and empty knowledge.
Proverbs 1:7: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge. Fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Job 11:12 But a stupid man will get understanding,
when a wild ***'s colt is born a man.

Scientists have been zapping artificial lightning through vats of primordial soup for more than 50 years now, and have always said they are "just on the brink" of creating life. The best they've managed to do is to create a few inert amino acids, and even that fact is in dispute. This is a very old myth you are reporting. If you read your source article closely (and yes, I have read the latest article), you will see that they have a lot of plans and appraoches in mind but have created, thus far, exactly nothing.

Okay, notice the terminology. They are on the verge of "creating" life. So, in essence, you have a creator, so to speak, creating something. It shows in order to start life, you need an outside influence to begin the process. This strengthens the case for creation. Let them throw the elements into a petri dish, and leave them alone, let's see if life spontaneously forms without their help.

If this is the best you can come up with to "disprove" God, then don't be shocked when people of faith laugh at you.
If you can't see the difference between creating a universe out of nothing and duplicating one small part of it in a laboratory, then you're not quite as bright as you think you are.
I hope the scientists succeed with this experiment, and I hope you're around for a billion years to see exactly what evolution--with no outside help--produces from it. Perhaps then you will drop on your knees and ask for forgiveness. Trying to lead the impressionable young people on this website away from God is a sin. Here is fair warning, my friend:
He called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
"And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea."

Boy that sounds really credible. I never heard of scientists use words like "scratch".
What does that even mean?
From nothing, nothing comes. If scientists start with no information, they will be looking allot longer than 10 years! hah !

Exactly what did they say? Was it something like....
"If I can just synthesize life here...then I'll have proven that no intelligence was necessary to form life in the beginning"

Obviously, the scientists are using "HIS" creation to create, since "from scratch" means from something that already exists.

no, not at all. It just shows how smart God made us. Course it has not been done yet. If their project fails will you believe in a creator God?

No, it won't change my theory. This will probably be the one who is "born without a soul". There are some who know what I'm talking about.

Whatever they are trying to create, they are using God's creation to do it.
