I have no problem with going to church, and I do go on occasion. I do not go every week. I get annoyed when they want you to “join our church” and begin to have money directly withdrawn from your paycheck, or from your bank account every week and given to the church. Most of my co-workers do this and say if you are not giving 10% of your pay to the church you are not a good Christian! Being a Christian is a faith, not a financial obligation! True, you should give some money to a church that you are going to in order to help them with building maintenance and new stuff they need, but 10% of your pay is way overboard in my opinion. I hate how church can seem like a big business.

And churches that give me a hard time about what I call “church hopping” make me mad also…. I mean it’s better than “bar hopping”.

Yes, typically 3 times a week. Yet I am in the church and not of it.

Continually seeking independentally provides much more insight than attendance at services where another persons vision and interpetation is spoon fed to you.
I do find that there are good points in most lessons and they provide a good starting point for thought.

NO. We are believers but there is no GRACE church in our area, so rather than sit under WRONG teaching, we choose to study at home.

We dont need to go to a building made with hands to be IN CHURCH. We are members of the church, which is His body, and wherever WE go, the church goes, as God sees it;.

Many have made church attendance into a legalistic "Im better than you cuz I do and you dont" mentality. Its not where we GO, but who we ARE in Christ that makes one a true believer.

Used to GO to church all the time...Now we dont go at all and our spiritual walk is thriving. We have found that churches are no longer a safe place to be, as most professing churches arent teaching the program God is currently in today, anyway.

I have no use for RELIGION...I have the REAL DEAL, and take God at His Word.

My church is in my house with my family, learning about God and applying its teachings to our lives. Also, we help in spreading the good news of His Kingdom.
