Christians, how can you explain the population explosion on the Earth?

If Adam and Eve were the only human beings created by god, then we are all the products of incestuous relationships. Adam and Eve's sons must have impregnated their mother or their sisters if they had any and Adam must have impregnated his daughters to populate the world.

If you object to my question, please explain to me how the world population grew from just two people.

It is quite interesting to see how people add to the bible and distort what's in the bible when they cannot argue a case convincingly.

In Genesis 1:26 it does not say god created males and females, it says he create male and female.

What is this polluted gene pool people are talking about. God never mentioned gene pool. Where in the bible does it say that man's gene pool was polluted by man's sin? God had not clue about science.

I'm a christian. I don't take the bible literally. Especially the Old Testament, which is where Adam and Eve come from. I'm confident most Christians feel the same way. The Old Testament follows the lives of one particular family starting with Adam and Eve and skipping some generations. I believe that there is significance to the stories of Adam and Eve, I just don't think it's a scientific significants. I think it's more of a "life lesson" type of story. One man's opinion.

Believing that Jesus re-wrote God's rules by living life the divine way, and thinking that children stories are for science class is two very different things.

If you go back and study Genesis instead of assuming the commonly held belief that God created only two people; you would see that in Genesis 1 it states that "....God created man(kind) in his own image..." It is not until Genesis 2 that Adam and Eve are introduced.
Adam in ancient Hebrew means "man" Eve means "mother" or "giver of life." Therefore there were not just two humans but rather all of humanity. Adam and Eve were just two of these people in the world.
Furthermore the sons of Adam and Eve went out and married their wives outside of Adam and Eve's home (in other words there were women in the world other than their sisters to marry.
As for the population explosion in the world.... If you don't know how babies are made I am mot even going to try to explain it to you.

Ummm, in your other question I believe some one told you that Adam and Eve did have other children ???? Back then the gene pool was NOT , as we say now, contaminated, and you could marry, sisters, cousins, etc....... and Adam and Eve lived a very, very, very , long life....... A world of NO pollution, pesticides, gases, exhaust, etc....... and yes, some one said the Bible does not say, Adam and Eve were the ONLY ones created by God, only the first, though I am not sure about all that..... some things we just do NOT know........ This question keeps coming up. Genesis describes God creating people BEFORE he created Adam & Eve. If Genesis is true then Adam and Eve were NOT the only human beings created by god.

A thing hard to understand I guess for some is that GOD knows what He is doing. Take a look at the beauty of His creation from the mountains, to the prairies ......
There is a population explosion because of the so-called governing bodies of this world not doing their job and informing and warning of this condition.
God left the world for us to manage and we are failing not just because of our leaders but because of our laxity in knowing exactly who we are electing.
Can you explain how we 'intelligent' species have made such a mess of things ie greed, illness, poverty, bias?

Adam and Eve had many,many,many,many children tin the hundreds of years they lived... God set it up as He wanted it... by the time Adam and Eve stopped procreating the gene pool had been spread out sufficiently so that God then instituted the no incest law.... as with all the other laws mankind immediately began violating it... that is when the gene pool began to be corrupted and the resulting abnormalities began to be passed to future generations...
