Hi, me again. I couldn't figure out how to edit questions so I'm just asking a new one. Here's the problem. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING and my ouija won't work. I've been thinking of just taking a piece of cardboard and making my own. Please help me get this thing to work! And if you're going to tell me that I'm an idiot who thinks this stuff works, or if you're going to get preachy, please leave. THANK YOU!

The ouija board works by the ideomotor effect, which basically means that you move the planchette without realizing that you're moving it.
Try playing with some friends. The more people involved, the more likely someone will unknowingly be moving the pointer. Also, you'll have the "group dynamic" working for you -- everyone will be anxious and scared, you'll get more caught up in emotion. Someone will start moving it.

I'll let you in on a little secret: Ouija is just pretend.
It's your unconscious mind that causes you to move the little pointer thingie around. Maybe your subconscious is trying to tell you something -- that it already knows it's all hokum.

Just take the pointer and point out the letters to the answers that you want or the answers that scare you. Simple.

well, if you believe they work,which i don't, never use the ouija alone. it can open the door to evil spirits. no, i'm not being a smart *ss. this is what i've been told.

It wont because there's nothing to contact. You would get more entertainment value from scrabble or monopoly.
