Eat lots of fruit, vegs, whole grains...cut back on red meat and only eat lean meats (if you eat meat), No sodas, or sugary drinks....drink water or tea, take a multivitamin to make sure you are getting everything you need.

You can go do laps at a pool, or hop on a rowing machine (do cardio to lose weight...make sure at certain intervals you step it up a bit to get some fat burning time in and to throw your body off so it doesnt just become accostomed to the workout).

You can also do push ups and crunches for your arms and abs.

The tried and true way to lose weight is do intake less and expend more calories. Walking is one way to get started. There are a number of variations of setups and for the arms, I suggest starting with light weights. Spending some time with a good personal trainer will yield some good information that you can use in your program.

You will burn the most calories by doing weights, not cardio. Eating well is, of course, a no brainer.

Buy the book "The Cardio-Free Diet" by Jim Karas and read it cover to cover. It's worth every penny. It's not a fad. It's scientifically based. You will never starve yourself. Weight train, weight train, weight train. Follow it through and you WILL lose weight.
