By realizing that all things you possess are gifts from God and that you deserve nothing. This way, you are grateful for everything around you and achieve true contentment.

Learn to bloom where you are planted.
Practice being a positive person. You can do it. I have.
Be happy. Refuse to let anything bring you down.
It's not going to help one bit, to get down. Stay positive.
Fake it, till you make it.
I have came such a long way. I let nothing bother me except the pain of others. I am in a very serene place.
I wish I could hit on the how of achieving contentment.
For me it helped being an active christian.
I always feel the presence of my Savior.
Work at it, if you are healthy, its obtainable. You can do it. Believe in yourself. You make the choice after all, as to how you choose to feel. Good Luck & Blessings~~Jill

By being very, very pleased! :o)
I find it in many ways every day. Unless living life like a monk, I dont think it's possible to be content all day every day as life seems to get in the way, but then I look at these little things as a means to an end. The irks of the day are a brilliant comparison point that makes the good things really count. Just today I was in my garden and a flock of birds came down for the wheetabix I'd put out for them - the weird thing is I was standing right there and they acted like I wasnt there. I just stood with these birds all around me - nothing fancy just your average garden starlings but I was standing there in the foggy wind, shivering and cold with the biggest dumbest grin on my face.
So my opinion is that contentment comes in small pockets of wonder throughout your day to day grind. Just dont be so busy looking for the one amazing thing that you dont see the thousands of really brilliant things all around you.

contentment means one is realistic and able to apreciate the circustance of the present as the result of ones karma, ones actions. We can be aware and content but at the same time if we are really aware and sage we can understand if we also have the possibility to emprouve. No illusion = no sofference
So contentment equal to realism

Get rid of your sins by repenting, being baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ, getting filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in an unknown language. Then you will have a peace and joy that just can't be understood. With that comes true contentment! Nothing else compares to it!

This is a very difficult question. I'd say, being ourselves, following our conscience. Alwyaus doing what, in our opinion, is the right thing to do. This no guarantee that we will get power or money. But sure, we´ll get peace of mind, of spirit and will feel good with ourselves.

A good roast beef sandwich and a nap go a long way for me. I also like listening to my daughter play, and watching "Scooby Doo" with her. Nora Jones for background music is nice. Simple pleasures go a long way and are fleeting, enjoy them.

I used to reach it by insulating myself with hate.
I don't have that hate anymore. Nor do I feel contentment.
I guess contentment comes when you are satisfied with what you have or what you do.

Content will come through Knowing HIM (Jesus Christ) and making HIM Known! Period. God wired us to be without contentment until we are satisfied with Him wholly. You will be hard pressed to find someone who is seeking God whole heartedly to be uncontent.

WHEN EACH ONE OF US IS BORN INTO THIS WORLD, WE HAVE IN US, A THIRST FOR THE LORD IT IS WITHIN US AND WHEN WE DON'T FULFILL IT, WE START SEARCHING OTHER WAYS, SUCH AS MONEY, GREED, SEX, OTHER BELIEFS, AND THOSE THINGS WILL NEVER MAKE US HAPPY, ONLY GOD KNOWS OUR INNERMOST NEEDS AND WANTS, AND ONLY GOD WILL EVER BRING US JOY AND HAPPINESS FOR ETERNITY, THOSE OTHER THINGS ARE TEMPORARY, GOD IS FOREVER OUR FATHER, AND ETERNITY CAN BE OURS ONCE WE ACCEPT THE LORD INTO OUR LIVES.
