Jews and Muslims are Monotheists, so of course they would not worship Jesus. Worshipping anything or anyone except G-d is blasphemy

Religious belief systems that are highly plausible or part-right are a huge block to faith in Christ, as the persons' minds often because of the rigidities of ideas they have believed, won't even honestly investigate christ's claims.

However, I once was darkened in my understanding, but the presence of the Holy Spirit at a mission event; the real presence of God, wonderful, gracious, loving and kind; led to my suddenly being made aware of God's reality, and also the salvation message also made sense, because there was a tangible sense of God's purity - the need for atonement that only Christ provides was evident to many there.

I think the gospel needs preaching more in the power of the Holy Spirit, with signs and wonders. Not everyone will believe for sure, but God will have people from all nations and backgrounds in His kingdom.

Using Jews and Muslims in the same sentence like that, is like lumping together George Washington and Saddam Hussein.

Jews had been worshiping the God of Abraham for thousands of years, before Jesus came along to change their view of God.

Christians had been following Jesus for 600 years, before Mohamed came along, and started to cobble together different aspects of different religions (including Judaism).

Jewish people who follow the Torah, I can understand. Muslim people, who have no idea of the roots of Islam, I think is more a cultural issue, than a factual issue.

Godspeed.

I thought Christians believed Jesus was the son of god

I'm more familiar with why most Jewish people simply cannot accept Jesus as God. See, if God would've revealed to them that He was Jesus, they wouldn't have crucified him, therefore leaving us without any hope for redemption. God chose to 'blindfold' them to this truth so that we Gentiles would have a chance to be forgiven. The Jews are and always will be His chosen people; but now we have been welcomed into His fold. It's a blessing to be counted with his chosen ones!

Yes - it's called believing in something different. At least they acknowledge that he existed, which is more than I can say for a lot of people that answer questions in this section (think referneces to the Tooth Fairy and Father Christmas). THere is actually more objective historical evidence for the life of Jesus than there is for Julius Caesar, yet people don't think the Roman is made up!

I think we all have our opinions on religion. To some Jesus was not god and to some the prophet mohamed was just another man and nothing else. Who are we to say what is true or what is false?
As soon as we denounce another religion we become what anyones GOD denounces and we move more toward the devil.
Just be a good person and nothing else and you will be living how God (any god) wants you to live.

Can I just say, these is no "right" way to spell muslims since it's a phonetic spelling from arabic, just the same way the koran can be spelled as ko'ran, Qoran Quran, etc.

Just so the smug arsehole a few heads above knows...

I understand it. They have not been given the faith to believe.

Joh 12:37 But though He had done so many miraculous signs before them, they did not believe into Him,
Joh 12:38 so that the Word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said, "Lord, who has believed our report? And the arm of the Lord, to whom was it revealed?" Isa. 53:1
Joh 12:39 Because of this they could not believe, because Isaiah said again,
Joh 12:40 "He has blinded their eyes" and "has hardened their heart," "that they might not see with the eyes" and "understand with the heart," "and be converted," "and I should heal them." Isa. 6:10
Joh 12:41 Isaiah said these things when he saw His glory, and spoke about Him.
Joh 12:42 Still, however, even out of the rulers, many did believe into Him. But because of the Pharisees, they were not confessing, so that they not be put out of the synagogue.
Joh 12:43 For they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God.
