When was the last time real butter was used on popcorn at the movies?

For as long as I can remember its been that canola oil-or some form of oil-has it ever been real butter?

Aha that's a good question - me and my friend always put loads and loads of the stuff on our popcorn and it tastes awesome. This one time I dared her to push the button and put her finger in it and then lick it off and she did and she almost died. It was absolutely disgusting, but pretty hilarious. =D

I do not know, good question, now if you are going to eat popcorn you must use butter, I'm hungry.
