I went to the beach over the weekend and im back at work and i feel terrible!!! i feel like throwing up. my mouth is dry, my head hurts and im cold and my joints ache and so do my muscles.... . what can i do to make myself feelbetter?? i have two hours of work left :( i wanna go home.

You don't sound good at all...ask your supervisor or boss if you can go home early and tell them how you feel...if not...drink as much as you can while you are there...drink plenty of water and massage your scalp...and when you get home...REST...make some ginger or chamomile tea....have some soup w/garlic cloves...suck on a cough drop...take a nice warm shower...and wrap up in your bed...hope you feel better soon sis...

You can start by getting some water and asking someone for a couple of Tylenol for the fever you will feel a little better in 20-25 minutes. This will only reduce your fever for approx 4 hours so be sure to take some more you may have to do this for a few days. Be sure to drink lot's of fluids.

you have obviously contracted a virus, and you SHOULD go home and stay there until you are well so you don't infect those around you. Your boss isn't your mother, you don't need permission, you just need to say you are ill and you are leaving, and then leave.

sounds like u caught a virus or a bacterial infection. take something for pain like tylenol,advil. drink pleanty of fluids. you can try benadryl or pepto for the nausea and symptoms.if thesde continue longer, please go to your md for a proper eval.goodluck;)michele
