i need it for myspace pictures, and vacations to sightseeing places like france. is it good for either of them?

I would get it sony is a great brand and it comes with a usb cable 4 myspace pics and it looks to be a great camra with a good price my advice get it! luck

Well, for that price, it's probably pretty good, but most people would pay at least 200-300 for their digital cameras (if the camera is a new model). I mean, if you can afford to go sightseeing in France, you can afford a better camera right? And I agree with others that Canon and Sony are some of the best brands you can buy from 200-400 dollars.

The Sanyo 6 MP Xacti VPC-S600 is a great product. It has great features and great quality. I dont own one, but I've had tons of Sanyo products in the past and have never had a problem

Sanyo's not known for their cameras. I'd say to go with a Canon Fuji or Sony
