Tuna seems to work best for me. Start feeding them where they can't see you and then slowly introduce yourself to them (with food of course). Just be careful, cat bites are really likely to get infected.

A food bowl set out in the morning and evening (or left all the time if you don't have raccoons around) plus a water bowl would let them know that there's food regularly at your place.
I do a feeding station here for several cats, who went from bone thin to 'healthy' looking thanks to it. It takes about a month to go through a big 18 lb bag of 9-Lives which costs me $8 from the store. It's worth it. We've had the food bowl out there now for 5 years and use a heated water bowl in winter to keep fresh water available.

I've had this similar experience quite recently. There were 6 kittens running around my yard. They aren't going to come up to you or trust you until you get hands on. What you need to do is go borrow a small animal trap from your humane shelter and put food in it. Preferably wet food. Before you do that though, feed them every day. They will get used to you feeding them and hang around your house. Leave the food out in the trap and see if you can trap one. We tried that and ended up catching my own cat! So, we kept feeding them and my boyfriend caught them off gaurd with a net. LOL. Once we got them inside, we fed them, and wrapped them in towels and pet them and coo'd at them. They are tame now!

well if u want to catch them but some food in a carrier outside for a couple days then once u know that they are eating out of it tie a string to the door and stand behind the cage or somthing and once u know that they are in there pull the string so the door closes. We have had many stray cats and this works every time.

You can try trapping them using a HavaHart trap with canned cat food in it. That's worked the best for me.
Just you'll probably have to plan on keeping them as it's almost impossible to find a good home for them. Anyone who contacted me about my foster kittens couldn't give me a vet reference for any of their pets and didn't want to give me their full name. We just had some guys around here arrested for pitbull fighting. They had 60 kittens they were using for pitbull bait, most of them were from newspaper ads.

Call animal control! They will come and take care of them. (They won't euthanize them, don't worry.)

leave food out side your door and don't feed them tuna it's not good for them because of the mercury that is in it.
