Is there anyway i can do my Income Tax Return from home using my own laptop? if so, what will i need ? please be specific when answering.

There are a number of different tax software applications that you can install on your laptop and do your return from home. TurboTax is the first to come to mind. However, if your return is at all complicated, then I would suggest contacting a tax firm or CPA to do the return. If you know how to do the return yourself, you may go to www.irs.gov and download the forms in adobe so you can input and print.

Go to IRS/GOV and forms. There is a supposedly free way to electronically file but when you get so far into the process you find out that it costs. The package to fill out your return is free but it costs to file it; or some such thing. Whenever the word "FREE" pops up it is a good thing to "BEWARE".

There are many software available in the market. I have been using TurboTax, and I am satisfied. Since I did not try another software, I can not tell you which one is the best.
Another thing, while doing your taxes yourself, if you have any question (or many questions) you can ask here.
