When you're first in that BF/GF stage, I'd say at least every other day and at least 5 days a week. You can take a day or two off from the person, but at least touching base on most days is required to make it a relationship instead of just a casual dating thing.

I am married, but when we were dating I expected totalk to him every day or every other day for at least 10-15 min. I also expected to see him at least once a week if not more. I am not an attention hog so as long as I know he is not dead I am fine. I get plenty of attention from friends. :)

I expect to hear from my g/f at least once every two or three days. That's a decent amount for me... although I do start to miss her after a day or two without a telephone or e-mail.
... what can I say, I love her.

Well we live together but I still expect a phone call a day just to say hi and keep in touch. To me there's absolutley no reason to go all day without speaking to each other. When we didn't live together i still expected a call a day and see each other maybe every other day.

My boyfriend calls me everyday probably 4-5 times a day. But, because of our schedules, we only have limited time during the week and of course we can see each other over the weekends.

when my fiance and I were living in separate apt.s we saw each other about 4-5 times a week. I made it clear in the beginning that it was important to me to have time alone to work on my art, and that he should also have some kind of activity/hobby with friends so that we weren't always in each others face. Space is important, and it makes you appreciate each other more, and less likely to be annoyed.
I guess it worked bc we're getting married this winter!

Heart Broken, I am 47 now but when I was in school I wanted it daily ! I wanted to give my attention and receive hers daily ! But unfortunetly she chose to give and receive her love elsewhere. So that was that.

when my BF and I first started dating he made sure to cal me every single night. It didn't matter if we saw each other that day or not he still calls/text me when I'm at work every single day!!!
