it has 177bhp but i think it would be great to chip it to see its full potential what would you do?

Why would you need to chip it?
You probably never rev it enough to see the full 177bhp, because of the mid-range torque. Any more torque and you might need to find a new gearbox capable of taking the strain.

if u chip this vehicle it can mess up the ecu,, to much of a bhp increase can also put extra strain on the cams!
personally i would just get a faster car.....no offence
