How do we help, if the government is so corrupt that donations will probably not got to the people in need?

Contact churches in there area. Get your Church involved by taking up a special collection. And have the church send the donations that are needed. My Church sent clothing, money, pet food, and what ever the church we contacted said they needed. We even offered housing if people wanted to relocate. A few families did relocate.

If you know anyone that has family there, or is somehow affected, you can give them your donations and hope they give it to the people they know. But money is not going to instantly help them, time is going to heal some pain. The money should go to providing food for the now homeless or those who have trouble getting necessary items. The government there I think would begin building and repairing homes and buildings as soon as they can.

Have you ever think the story when Jesus calm the storm in the boat, can you imagine when he rules the earth that kind of disasters (left 2 deads in my country) will be stopped just with a click of a fingers during his kingdom in earth??

Go through the American Red cross, no wait a minute they are the government, I can't believe it I just realized trolls should be flayed alive with a spoon!
