There's no draft. There's no plans to reinstate the draft!

NO veterans can not be drafted they have served there term and there for are excluded from the draft. However if they still have time on there contract they can be recalled. Time on there contract is basically like this. When you sign up for the Army you sign up for 8 years three to four of those years are active service., which means you actively participate in duty (Active or reserve), the remainder of you contract is called inactive ready reserve (IRR) in this status you can be recalled to duty at any time until you eight years is complete. You are required by lay to update you record every year to insure you contact information is correct.

VETERANS have already served and therefore would notbe subject to a draft.

Which,by the way will NEVER happen, because the military doesn't want one.

Veterans can however, be recalled under certain circumstances..

There has not been a draft since the Vietnam "conflict". But as used to answer earlier question, depends on how long we stay in Iraq and I am pro Military and Republican. MEAN WHAT YOU SAY AND SAY WHAT YOU MEAN. DO NOT LEAVE A JOB HALF DONE. REMEMBER WWII AND RUSSIA AND PATTON?

They can be drafted however depending upon the nature of the disability they may not have to serve.
