And would the priest or pastor or whatever get offended or something if a non catholic went to use one?

Some Catholic churches have the confession booths, but some do not. Churches that were constructed in the past 20 years or so have a simple room with a couple of easy chairs for the priest and the penitent to sit and talk. The confession is done face-to-face.

The sacrament of reconciliation is only for those who are catholics. If the priest senses that you are not a Catholic, he would probably inform you of this and ask you to make an appointment at the front desk to talk to him, if possible. This would only be courteous of those Catholics who are waiting to receive reconciliation.

Every Catholic church I have ever been in has confessionals. I do not think a priest would be offended if a non-catholic came to him with a serious religious or moral or ethical question.

That said, the purpose of a confessional is the Catholic sacrament of confession. If you wish to speak with a priest call the church and make an appointment.

Yes, the confession booths are still in catholic churches.

No, the priests won't get offended if you went to them wanting to talk to them, you don't need to tell them you're not catholic if you wish, but it would be better to tell the priest, so he can then know where you're coming from, and advise/talk accordingly.

Yes.

Confessionals are still in churches.

No, the priest would not be offended if a non-Catholic came.

Unfortunately non-Catholics may not receive legitimately receive any Catholic Sacraments like Reconciliation except under extreme circumstances like danger of death.

However a non-Catholic may talk to a priest about any issue in their life without receiving absolution.

With love in Christ.

Confessionals still exist.

Non-Catholics are not authorized to receive the sacrament of reconciliation, unless they're in immanent danger of death.
