what's up with that? mine are always telling me how worthless I am, and what a loser I am, yada yada yada...
for once, i wish they'd tell me I'm dead sexy and a milf.

Because the voice that is supposed to tell you to do good has either hung himself, or has been stabbed repeatedly by the evil voice, and left bleeding to death in the corner.

I think it depends upon the source of your voices.
In the Christian faith, we talk about that still small voice. When we trurst in God, he teaches us right from wrong. More than once, I've had that twinge inside of me (not a physical voice mind you, but more like a warning signal) that says, "don't do this!!"
So, I think if you start to ask God to show you right from wrong, it will help to quiet the voices.
