the little bugs that get into flour... I have never seen themin sugar or cake mix.. can they get in there?

Yes they can. Improper temps can make bugs get in there faster. You control how you store it at your house, but you don't know how the store, warehouses, and delivery trucks were. Most cake mixes have "use by dates" on them. Toss if the date has passed.

Yes. They come from eggs laid in the flour so they definitely could. If you don't see weevils in there you are probably making cakes made from the flour fast enough that the eggs did not hatch.

Yes they can - If you buy those products I suggest storing them in the freezer, along with oatmeal and things like that.

it has nothing to do with the way you keep ur house with as much as how the warehouse stores and contains the mix

if u keep an opened pack long enough yes , but what harm is a little extra protein

If you have a filthy and untidy house, yes. If you maintain SOME order of cleanliness, no.

yes i find them all the time and i take it back to the store and alert the manager.
