She was using a fradulent social security number to work and receive benefits. This is fraud, and identity theft is she was using someone else's number. These are serious crimes! WHy do people talk about her like she is a victim, a that she is being siscriminated against based on her race? Identity theft and fraud are crimes no matter what the color of your skin is!

I have absolutely NO idea!! And the fact that they are comparing her to Rosa Parks is absurd. Rosa Parks was an American citizen and was demonstrating her rights as one. The movements for equal rights regardless of skin color and/or sex were justified because these people were American citizens..not illegal immigrants. She has no right to anything in our country as far as I'm concerned. She is a felon and deserved to be sent back. She also isn't a very good mother..how could she leave her child here? She's USING her own child!! Ridiculous!! Thank you USA for enforcing our laws!!!

She is a criminal and was a fugitive from justice. She had a big mouth and maybe just wanted her 15 minutes of fame?! She is a poor excuse of a parent and should not be able to terrorize that boy anymore! She should have done jail time but I'm just glad she's gone. That little church hideout should have been stopped lots earlier than it was. She is no role model for anyone unless they are as delusional and full of false entitlement as she was! There's definitely no shortage of stupidity in the way this was handled or her!

Arellano said she could go home to "her country", Mexico, or stay here and fight. She chose to stay and fight for her rights to not leave her citizen born son. First, if Mexico is "her country", it is not logical for her to believe she has "rights" to stay in the USA. She has stolen her way into our country and become deported twice. She knows her actions are illegal, and has been told this in court. Second, she does not have to leave her son. She chooses to do that. A good parent would take their little child with them. From sneaking into our country, to using false ID and stealing another's identity...these are terrible crimes against our country. Citizens of the USA are given prison sentences for using false identification. Mexico would send an illegal committing these crimes to prison. Giving illegals so called "sanctuary" in a church is also a crime...harboring a fugitive from justice, since she had already been deported via court hearing. Those harboring fugitives should also be punished. Our laws need to be enforced. The illegals do not care what wrong they do, and feel justified doing it as they make it clear "their country is Mexico." Arellano says she will continue to "fight" from Mexico. This is so illogical and wrong. She needs to have her child sent to her and quit sneaking illegally into the USA. We have a right to immigration quotas and border security, just as Mexico has and stringently enforced. We do not owe Mexico our nation.

Our culture is so compassionate that it has forgotten responsiblity.

They see the plight of this woman, being sent back to her impoverished country & having to make the difficult choice of whether to take her son with her into poverty, or leace him here where he will have more opportunities.

But people forget one thing.

She is responsible for this situation! She came here illegally TWICE & committed fraud to gain employment in an area which requires high security with her false documents. She deserves to be deported!

She had her day in court and pleated guilty. The real crime is what she is doing to her child. The first time she was arrested it was in front of the child and it was, while she was using stolen SSN, she had not control over the arrest. But on the second time she knew she was under the eye of ICE, and did not take steps to make sure that if she was not in the same car as her son when they maded their move.

I don't get it myself, she has broken many laws and yet people want to hold her up as some sort of symbol of good?

She puts her child in a very bad situation and has admittedly committed fraud (more than once) yet some still support her. I guess they support her because she is an activist for illegal immigration? maybe.. sorry that's all I have...

She was convicted of a felony which means she can't vote or hold public office etc, wait my bad she's an illegal alien.
She deserves what she got.

And to top it off she seeks refuge in the house of the Lord. What a hypocrite!

The illegals have not chosen a good role model. All she is is a criminal illegal alien that is a coward to boot.

Not sure why people are supporting her.I agree, race has nothing to do with it. I wonder if the people that are in her favor and are pro-illegals will not mind sharing their identity with them so they can stay here and work.HMMM?

People want to show that we're a kinder, gentler nation. In the end, that's what's going to bring this country down.

They're talking about her as if she's some kinda hero. She's done nothing more than use her son as an anchor baby and cower inside a church.
