I've had braces for 6 months now, and the back wire on my bottom teeth came lose, is there a way I can fix this by myself?
My orth. is closed today and I cannot get a hold of her. I'mnot sure if the dentist will do it either. The wax cannot fit back there as the sire is underneath the tube where the wire should be. I checked my sheet and it said sdomething about the Tube wire, but thats not the one, this is at the very back of my muth with the wire out of that little hole. Is this possible for me to do it myself or my dentist seeing as the orth. is closed today? If so, how?

It is very unlikely that you can take care of this by yourself. It is probably not causing you harm though and can be addressed when you get a hold of your orthodontist. However, if you can't wait then contact your dentist. The office I work at has a dentist that has done some very minor orthodontic cases and has the instruments to use if he needs them. He would probably snip the wire if it was a problem....

Hope that helps!

Wait til tomorrow or maybe see if another ortho can do an emergency repair.
