I like Mike's answer. Hot implies just the physical. Beautiful is more encompassing of the entire person, rather than just how she looks. Hot is shallow; beauty is deep.

Beautiful means you're both beautiful inside and out. Hot.. i guess guys use that to define just physical attractiveness.

when i think of hot .. i ussually think of only of a physical atrraction nothing more.. beautiful would be the girl that has so much more going for her like u said personality and offcourse by that it dosent mean she lacks on the looks department either.. beutiful girls have a different kind of hotness.. hot girl are hot and thus become a sexual desire for guys... beautiful girls are in a way hot but bring out other type of feelings in men..as oppose to just a sexual desire..
