If you simply copy the existing genuine Microsoft Windows XP Professional CD, you will have a bootable copy. If you are making a slip stream version with all the up to date patches, simply search for a documented "slip stream windows cd" page.

If you are taking an ISO file you downloaded off a P2P network, I hope you enjoy all the cracked and hacked code in the illegal version.

Normally windows installer cd is bootable, you can copy cd to cd from your software burner.

if you want to make bootable cd, Nero express has an option to make bootable cd, then copy all the files of window installer. but sometimes there will be an error, since the real window installer is bootable one.
