Me and a few cousins were thinking over our family and how no matter how much they tried, they just didn't seem to prosper. Most people were spiritual and followed a straight and narrow path but it seems as though our entire family suffers. There are a few family secrets that we know of that may have hindered our family but I am not sure is generations can be curse because of what our ancestors did. That doesnt' seem fair.

Yes.Definitely there are generational curses or while in the process of delivering you and your family from these buggers,I call them ancestor demons.which pass Through the womb of each child from 3 - 4 generations and these ancestor demons are sometimes the nastiest demons in the bunch because they have made a nest and don't want to go.But by the power of the Holy Spirit and in the Name Of Jesus you can get delivered.It is not easy but let me tell you it will be worth it.Pray to Jesus to get delivered and I pray in the Precious Name of Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit I command these ancestral demons to leave out of this situated family in Jesus Name.KEEP PRAYING TO GET DELIVERED.And Jesus will make it happen

According to Christians, their belief in generational curses comes from the bible.It isn't fair but generational curses do have a biblical foundation.
You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing loving kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.” (Exodus 20:5,6)
Others who don't believe in God can see "generational curses" as other types of things carried over from one generation to another. We all know that if our Mother or Father is an alcoholic then it is in our DNA that we have a greater chance of becoming a alcoholic. Is this a generational curse of just DNA? HMM....gives us something to think about doesn't it?

Yes! I hit this topic during the beginning of my studies and I was shown what they are, how they work, etc. And at times its hard to see them due to people being secret, family not sharing, specially past the grandparent stage.
I realized my family line curse was what we call porn today but more easily known as adultry, sad to say.
My grandfather, great man, but now that I think back, I do recall rubbers in a bathroom draw when I was young. When he was about 75. Sure he was married but to be still that active at that age, hmm.
Then my dad, cheated on my mom when I was just a little boy. Got divorced, slept with about every secretary he had. Then got one prego and married her, gave me 2 half brothers. And during that marriage he was caught that I know of at least 2 times cheating. Plus he's a internet porn freak to the point he has at least 9 subscriptions my brothers tell me.
The my oldest half brother, he's like dad. Just is absorbed into porn, on his walls, screen saver, etc.
My other half brother isn't into the porn as bad, but him and his gf are worse than rabbits, on every corner.
Me, been a mix of sex, porn, etc during my life, least till the last 7 yrs when I got woken up.
But I was taught to recognize the curse, accept it, then ask for forgiveness of that curse, and you have to really mean it. Then it should be removed from you, not the family. For each member must ask of this.
Since I asked to be forgiven of the family curse, my high sex drive has bought gone to nothing (not nothing but not over drive anymore), I could care less bout porn on web, seeing a woman in a skirt, etc. My curse was removed.

Yes but you can break those curses, there is a book about. at a christian book store I cannot remember the author though.
