This morning, I hit my right hand (the back side, not palm) fairly hard on the corner of a marble area in the foyer at my work. The pain was very bad when I first hit it, and now each second it is getting worse. It feels like I may have hit a nerve or something, and it's starting to creep down my right arm. I am able to move my hand, fingers and arm (obviously, I'm typing), but like I said, it feels like sharp pains. Any thoughts on what this could be and should I get it checked out? Is this just temporary pain that can be solved with tylenol or something? I use a computer for work, so any advice would be helpful. I can't find anything on-line that doesn't sound like a foreign language to me. Thanks!

place an ice pack on the area for ten minutes, several times throughout the day. It does sound like you hit a nerve because of the pain moving up the arm. Advil liquid capsules work very quickly on pain. Try these four times today. If you don't feel better by tomorrow you should see your medical doctor.
