When I used to be a worship leader we would always try to make people really focused, emotional and meditative.

We would also try to make the lyrical content of the songs match up with the forthcoming sermon topic for each service.

Another good goal is to make sure that you vary your music selection every few months to keep things interesting but not so much so that people in the congregation don't know the words.

Just try to be an honest and sincere person whatever you are doing and the truth will shine. People are more influenced by compassion and honesty than anything else. Don't tell people that they have to clap or have to stand up. It's okay to make suggestions but everyone likes to worship a little differently and it's important to remember that.

Praise team is like worship team right?

Well, you can set a goal that you can get everyone singing with you...for once. Or like, have everyone excited.

For example, lead a song where the crowd has to dance, shout, etc.

Though I know this is probably for youth or adults, sometimes its fun to go back to a few children's songs. See if you can lead "Deep Down In My Heart". Most people know this song and it gets everyone involved. When you get to the line "YES, I lOVE MY JESUS!" you can have them shout separately in a competition like thing.

Just some suggestions because our youth is dead.

To be able to get everyone involved in the worship service, you know those people who are sitting down and not really paying attention, try to get everybody pumped for God. And, you can never have too much practice. Actually know that I'm telling you this, I should work on it in my praise team. :)
God bless!!!

To usher in the Holy Spirit.

To fully worship God with all of your Heart.

Try not to make it a show, but to truly worship.

Read Matt Redmans Books, Facedown, Heart of worship.

My church only calls the grownup compliment team "The compliment Band." the new child's compliment team the place they do dancing and such for new child's church is termed "The compliment team." Very unique.... even nevertheless it works and is unquestionably subject-free to bear in mind.
