Many (not all) Muslims hate Jews. And they have made up this lie and don't want people to feel sorry for the Jews.
It's pretty dumb! So much evidence.

Denial of the Holocaust in the media, makes people in the country unaware of plans to do it again.

As it was covered up in the first place so others would realize what was going on.

As denial of genocide today by the ones who do it. So? Once at my grandparents house, there was this denial going on by a publicist in Russia (I think) who was in denial of the Holocaust. And my Grandpa & Grandma were pissed off because He was in the war & they knew this had happened.

Now Iran is in denial of this, & they proclaim to wipe Israel off the map & disable the US. Calling US the Great Satan. That includes the Venezuala President Hugo. So? They are in cohoots to wipe Israel off the map & disable US.

People tend to deny things they dont have an understanding about, there is no real grasp on what happened during the Holocaust for this generation since they have "nothing" to compare it to. It was an atrocity and most people again have no idea what it is prior to making mention of it. It happened and of the days, of this earth, it has to be one of the most horrific experiences of humanity, along with genecide and mass starvations in lesser fortunate countries.
We must not allow forgetfulness of the past, because with each of these we learn, but we must also not live in the psat, because the present needs the whole of humanity, to become better for the future.
God bless and I will never deny.

People go into denial all the time.

With the Holocaust, I think that Jews should mention the 5.5 million Poles, Romas and others who were killed alongside their 6 million.

This would make denial harder to pull off.

The Holocaust is an inconvenient fact for all those who tried to wash their hands of the guilt for which they faced conviction- both personally and legally! Today many people deny it because it would force them to examine the consequences of their political choices and allegiances--refusing to learn from history is dangerous! This country is facing some serious issues regarding the very lessons that we should have learned from the not too distant past!

History is based on facts ... and truth cannot be hidden by
exageration... no boubt Holocauast was a great tragedy -it
is also a mirror where you can see the ugly face of
humanity---the denial is the best alternative not to see yr
ugly face.

I don't deny.
Here's a guess.
The following is a fictitious scenario...

Something happened a long time ago. I wasn't there. You're grandparents were affected by it. You expect me to treat you in a special way because of that occurrence a long time ago when I was not present. ????????

I heard about it. Sounds like it was real bad. I hope it doesn't happen again.
You think we need to continually discuss it because you're paranoid about it happening again.
I'm tired of hearing about it so I just decide to deny it in an attempt to get on to other things.

And of course there are the people who just deny it because they secretly hate Jews. (I don't hate or deny)

Well, I don't beleive it was Anti-Semitism, because a lot of people know that it wasn't only the Jews who were killed.

I think it depends on who is denying it to tell what motivation lies underneath their denial.

Depends on who's denying it. But one thing stands true for just about anyone; as humans, we just don't want to believe that some people can be so cruel and hateful. So we feel shame and embarrassment on behalf of the rest of the human race.I guess you could say it's a form of empathy.

It's the radical Muslim way of ignoring Jews and destroying the sympathy toward them because of the Holocaust.

it plays down the tragic history of the jewish peoples and lessens the reasoning why the UN gave them israel. If rhw holocaust is ignored it makes it easier for people to blame other things on the jewish people. Things such as 9-11, etc, and ridiculous things that obviously they had nothing to do with.
