Oh, I never thought that practically ANYONE hates me. I am such a sweetheart, and so are you! You gave me such lovely and warm answers to some of my "Christian and Pagan Appreciation Day" questions. I remember.
I'd never even think that of people who have yelled at me on this forum, bc people say a lot of stuff here that they would never say or mean if they were speaking to the person in person.
Go ahead and embrace your inner insania. You hug yours and I'll hug mine.

1000 years of ritual human sacrifice is something that it will and should take Christians a while to live down.
That being said, it takes awhile to learn that the ones who hate and destroy aren't real Christians. Most witches and pagans know or learn that. Some never do.
And then there's the "Dances with Credit Cards," New Age types, who know better but get off on being drama Queens.
"Embracing your inner insania..." Ya know, if you didn't already have a religion, you'd make a good Trickster Shaman.

I dont think its hate... at least not by most Christians. Its misunderstanding and the lack of knowledge on paganism. If they could get their information from an unbiased source then perhaps there would be less people coming to silly conclusions about pagans and their traditions.
Of course there are the few exceptions but I wont get into that.

I don't believe that ALL Christians hate us but the ones that have the loudest voices are heard loudest. That would be the "moral majority"
Just as pagans we can love Christians as neighbors and in a lot of cases as brothers and sisters. The quicker that we all can get a grip on the fact that we can all co-exist together as one human race the better off we will all be.

Because a lot of pagans have serious persecution complexes worsened by huge chips on their shoulders. Some of us have had bad experiences with some Christians, but instead of treating them like individuals, some pagans hypocritically paint all Christians with a broad brush.

And where did you get this idea from? Some Christians may hate THEIR idea of us but we KNOW all Christians don't hate us. Hell most of us have Christian buddies - like you! Other than that? Other than that? Well, I'm still a little hot 'bout being burned at the stake! lol
Hey, ya wanna ride in me handbasket this Friday???

Not all Christians hate us. We know this...or at least I do. The ones that try to convert us certainly act as though they hate us when we refuse though. I have no problem with Christians in general, my best friend is one, just the ones who don't leave me alone about my religion.

ah, madpol and moondown answers are so concise!
what can i add?!
no, we pagans are aware that not all xians hate us.
but even those who dont hate us are still largely miseducated about us, which causes confusion!
many pagans and witches are still, rightly so, very upset about the genocide that some hatred-filled xians committed.
but we are aware that today there are not quite as many ignorant types around!!
blessed be

No, not ALL Christians, just ALL the Biblean Christians hate us. But then again they hate EVERYTHING that isn't in the Bible. So, what else is new?

Me neither. I think pagans are cool. Praise God and Blessed Be!
I think they're gonna be pleasantly surprised, though, when God welcomes them into His arms in heaven. But then again, no more surprised than the radical fundamentalists who think he's a white bearded republican man.
